Clarinet
Stacey Houghton, saxophone, clarinet.
Stacey has his Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Valdosta State University and has his Master’s degree in Music from the University of South Carolina. He has pursued further studies in Music Education at Georgia State University. Stacey has been a woodwind instructor (saxophone, clarinet, flute) and clinician since 1980 and currently directs the jazz program at Clayton College and State University. Performance experience includes appearances with Ray McKinley, Dr. John and Dianne Schuur. Stacey was also a guest soloist, composer, and clinician with the 1991 Georgia All-State Jazz Ensemble with Roger Pemberton.
