Lisa Morrison, Musical Beginnings
Musical Beginnings Director and teacher, Lisa Morrison received her Bachelor of
Music Degree from Boston University in violin. She has taught Musical Beginnings
for over 20 years here at the Academy. Providing a great musical foundation for
children and sharing the gift of music is central to her teaching beliefs.
In addition
to teaching music to young children, Lisa has also been on the string faculty at
The Georgia Academy of Music, Kennesaw State University, Dekalb College and
is currently a violin professor at Reinhardt University. She is also an active
performer as concertmaster of The Atlanta Ballet Orchestra, member of The
Atlanta Opera and The Amati Chamber Players.
